I am grateful for the privilege to travel.

Born at Vaissac, we would occasionally drive to Nègrepelisse, Caussade, Larroque, Montricoux ,Bruniquel, Saint-Antonin, exceptionally to Montauban. Toulouse and Albi where we had cousins which was considered a treat. Trips to Bordeaux where Dad had customers were the cherry on the cake. A "voyage" to Paris where we had cousins, was definitely the summum.

I started my own traveling by leaving for Brussels to attend College. From there, with the school we traveled to Holland, Luxembourg, Germany,  Italy. The great adventure consisted in being a tour guide for a choir from Oregon that took us to Berlin itself, crossing East Germany. The greatest trip came in the form of a three month tour of Europe. I was hired as a "French tutor" by a Doctor on his way to Africa. We went almost all over Europe in a Volkswagen van, him, his wife, their baby and myself.

The grand trip was crossing the Atlantic Ocean to go to and get married in Minneapolis.

Back in France we had the privlege to travel all over France, take vacations in the Alps, the Pyrénées, in Biarritz on the Ocean. We lived in Montauban, Cahors, Moissac, Perpignan, Villeneuve Sur Lot, and Albi. 

Je suis reconnaissant du privilège d'avoir pu voyager. Né à Vaissac nous allions occasionnellement à Nègrepelisse, Caussade. Larroque, Montricoux, Bruniquel, Saint-Antonin, exceptionnellement à Montauban, à Albi ou à Toulouse ou nous avions de la famille. Parfois à Bordeaux pour livrer du bois à un client; à Paris pour acheter une voiture d'occasion.

J'ai entrepris mes propres voyages en commençant par Bruxelles pour poursuivre mes études au Collège Biblique. A partir de là, avec l'Ecole nous voyageâmes en Hollande, au Luxembourg, en Allemagne, en Italie. Une grande aventure consista à  servir de guide pour une chorale de l'Oregon et de les conduire à Berlin Ouest, après avoir traversé "l'Allemagne de l'Est". Sans oublier des voyages en Italie, à Crotone en Calabre avec un camarade d'étude. La grande virée s'avéra être un tour d'Europe en tant que tuteur de Français pour un Docteur et son épouse en partance pour l'Afrique. A bord d'un minibus Wolks Wagen nous visitâmes toute l'Europe.

Le plus long consista a traverser l'Ocean Atlantique pour me marier aux USA.

De retour en France nous voyageâmes à travers la France et en Espagne, à Barcelone à Madrid. Nous avons été pasteurs à Montauban, Cahors, Moissac, Villeneuve Sur Lot, et Albi.
